1. Opening a shop
Sellers are onboarded by the Norla team. You must be legally able to sell what you list and to receive payments in your country, and you must give a real shop name that does not imitate another business.
Norla may review, pause or close a shop that breaches this agreement, receives repeated complaints or lists prohibited items.
2. Listings
Every listing must describe accurately what the buyer receives: the format, what is included, any software or hardware requirements, and how it is delivered (download, shipped item, or service). Prices are in US dollars and include everything except shipping and taxes that the listing states separately.
You must own or hold the rights to everything you sell, including fonts, stock assets and third-party code inside a download. Do not list items that infringe someone else's rights, contain malware, or are unlawful where you or your buyers live.
- Prohibited: counterfeit or pirated goods, weapons, adult content, anything that requires a licence you do not hold.
- Restricted: physical items that need certification (electrical equipment, cosmetics) may be listed only with proof of compliance on request.
3. Orders and fulfilment
An order is confirmed when Norla records the buyer's payment. Downloads are released by the website immediately. For shipped items and services you agree to start within 2 working days, keep the order status up to date in your shop dashboard (In progress, Delivered) and reply to buyer messages within 2 working days.
Buyer details (name, email, delivery address) are shared with you only to fulfil the order. Do not add buyers to mailing lists or contact them for other purposes without their consent.
4. Fees and payouts
Norla charges a platform fee of 10% of each sale, deducted before payout. Payment processing fees charged by the payment provider are passed through at cost. Fees are shown on each sale in your dashboard.
Payouts are made monthly for all orders marked Delivered or Completed at least 14 days earlier, to the payout method on your shop profile. You are responsible for your own taxes and for any invoices your buyers need.
5. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks
If a buyer reports a problem, work it out with them through Messages first. Where a refund is agreed or Norla decides one is due under the Terms of Service, the refund and the platform fee are deducted from your next payout. Chargebacks that result from an inaccurate listing or a missed delivery are charged back to you.
6. Intellectual property and licences
You keep the rights to your work. You give Norla a licence to display your listing text and images on the website and in Norla's own marketing of the marketplace. Unless your listing says otherwise, buyers of a download receive a non-exclusive licence for personal and client work, without the right to resell or redistribute the files.
7. Pausing or closing your shop
You can pause listings or delete them at any time; orders already paid must still be fulfilled. To stop selling, support open licences to the end of their paid period, then contact sellers@norla.io. Sales records are kept for the period required by law.
8. Changes
We may change this agreement, including fees, with 30 days' notice by email and on the website. Continuing to sell after the change takes effect means you accept it.
